“Say ‘no’ fearlessly”, they said.
“Own your opinion”, they said.
“You decide what works for, and against, you”, they said.
“You have a right to your opinion”, they said.
The naïve one believed them and instilled the courage to do everything “they said”.
“You are too opinionated”, they said.
“You are very direct with what you say”, they said.
“Learn to hold back”, they said.
“You don’t have a choice. ‘No’ cannot be your answer”, they said.
“Your ‘attitude’ is all wrong”, they said.
But the person was not naïve anymore.
The voice was found.
The wings were grown.
The naivete was gone.
The world suddenly was easier to live in because what was felt, was openly said.
The VOICE was now every thing that mattered.
The VOICE was the best friend that the person never had.
The VOICE brought with it new courage.
The VOICE would never be quieted again.
